Grades 5-8 - Jr. Pride Developmental
The goal of the Jr. Pride program (1st Grade – 8th Grade) is to develop key fundamentals and instill a tremendous work ethic in young lacrosse players. This gives our youth players a huge advantage over players in other programs.
The Jr. Pride also serves as a supplemental off-season and in-season training program for youth players who may already be a part of a youth feeder program for area high schools.
We prepare youth players to be both leaders on and off the field. Many of our players have gone on to be some of the best players in the state of Missouri.
MAKEUP OF TEAM
- Open to Birth Years: 2001, 2000, 1999 (20 Players total for this team)
TRAINING
- 16 total hours of lacrosse training and games
- 8 practice sessions spread out over 9 weeks (no practice week March 19-23 for Spring break).
- Additional Saturday games or practices to be scheduled
- Practices will include a mixture of “Individual Skills Development” and “Team Concepts and Positional Play” training.
- Goalies can expect specific positional teaching and instruction during practice sessions.
- Staff by Northern Edge Lacrosse coaches
GAMES - Saturday games with local teams at Wren Hollow and various locations throughout the Greater St. Louis Area
- 9:00 AM- 3:00 PM, exact schedule TBD
EQUIPMENT
- Helmet, gloves, elbow pads, shoulder pads, mouth guards, cleats and lacrosse stick
All participating players will receive the official St. Louis Pride jersey

- Games: March: 24, 31, April 7, 14, 28, May 5
- Saturday Practices held on non- game dates at Wren Hollow from 11 AM-12 PM
