3HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY (Full day) - 1.5HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY (Half day)

  • Curriculum designed specifically for the modern day defenseman or forward looking to improve his/her play away from the puck.
  • Program focus will be on: Advanced Skating, Puck Movement, Proper Body Positioning, Effective Use of the Stick, Gap Control, Corner Play, Reading and Reacting, and Net Front Battles.
  • Containment and Body Checking Techniques, Reading the Rush, Joining the Play, Odd-Man Situational Play, Making the First Pass, Shooting.
  • This is a dedicated 5 day Development Program offered as a Full Day camp (with 3 hours of ice daily) in some locations and as a Half Day camp (with 1.5 hours of ice daily) in other locations. Check the schedule in your market for specific camp details.
3HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY (Full day) - 1.5HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY (Half day)

  • Designed for the new age forward or defenseman who is excited to add this component to His/Her game.
  • Intensive Goal Scoring Techniques: Creative Scoring, Shooting in Stride, Second Effort Goals, Deflections/Tips/Screens, Breakaways, One-Timers, Dekeing, Forehand/Backhand Shooting, Net Battle, Funneling Pucks,Shooting from uncomfortable situations.
  • Highly Specific Game Situation Goal Scoring Drills: Driving to the Net, Battling through Checks, Odd Man Situations.
  • This is a dedicated 5 day Development Program offered as a Full Day camp (with 3 hours of ice daily) in some locations and as a Half Day camp (with 1.5 hours of ice daily) in other locations. Check the schedule in your market for specific camp details.
3HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY

  • Program designed to combine essential elements from both the Goal Scoring (morning ½ of the camp day) and Ultimate Defense (afternoon ½ of the camp day) curriculums.
  • This is a comprehensive 5 day, Full Day (morning and afternoon) camp, consisting of 3 hours of ice time each day (90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon),with remainder of day spent on a variety of off-ice strength and conditioning training.
1.5HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY

  • Program designed for any player playing hockey at the Mite level.
  • Entry level exposure to the Northern Edge Hockey curriculum.
  • Primary focus will be on developing the major fundamentals in a fun environment.
  • Skill movements will be emphasized in all drills and small area games.
  • This program is a Half-Day camp option in select cities only, with 1.5 hours of on-ice skill work each day and the remaining camp time spent with off-ice strength and conditioning training.
3HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY

  • Program designed for competitive players looking to take their overall understanding of the game to a higher level.
  • Advanced Skill work and Conditioning will constitute the first half of each day.
  • Conceptual work will be performed in the second half of each day, helping player better understand situations arising in the game.
  • Time spent developing each players’ understanding of concepts and situations to enable them to read and react more efficiently in their play.
  • The final on ice segment each day will be dedicated to a Controlled Scrimmage, where the players can perform the skills and concepts taught earlier in the day.
  • This is a comprehensive 5 day, Full Day (morning and afternoon) camp, consisting of 3 hours of ice time each day (90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon), with remainder of day spent on a variety of off-ice strength and conditioning training.
3HRS ON-ICE PER DAY

  • This program has been developed for the Bantam, Midget and High School Player.
  • Designed specifically to make the serious player: stronger, faster, smarter and more skilled.
  • Situational and game theory taught on-ice and in classroom.
  • Identical training curriculum used for our USHL, College and NHL players.
  • This is a 5 day, Full Day (morning and afternoon) camp, consisting of 3 hours of ice time each day (90 minutes in the morning and 90 minutes in the afternoon), with remainder of day spent on a variety of off-ice strength and conditioning training.
1.5HRS ON-ICE EACH DAY

  • Program designed for players of all ages and abilities who are interested in taking their skating skills to the next level.
  • Skating curriculum will consist of: Balance, Agility, Explosiveness, Backwards Skating, Stride Mechanics, Edge Work & Transition Skating.
  • Skating drills created to build the players leg strength and overall hockey endurance on ice.
  • Program geared for players who currently demonstrate basic fundamental skating abilities.
  • This skill specific program is a 5 day, Half-Day camp option in select cities only, with 1.5 hours of on-ice skill work each day and the remaining camp time spent on off-ice strength and conditioning training.
Ice times vary from rink to rink, so this is just an EXAMPLE of a typical day. You’ll want to be sure to check our website 2 weeks before your scheduled camp to verify the exact schedule for the camp you are registered for. This is an EXAMPLE only!

  • 8:15-8:30am Drop Off – Register – Check-In – Head to Locker Room
  • 8:30am Locker Room to Dress
  • 9:00am On-Ice
  • 10:30am Off-Ice – Head to Locker Room
  • 10:45am Off-Ice – Plyometrics, Off-Ice Skills, Instructional Video, Off-Ice Games (variety each day)
  • 12:00pm Lunch (lunch program offered by some rinks, if not, bring your own)
  • 12:30pm Head to Locker Room to Dress
  • 1:00pm On-Ice
  • 2:30pm Off-Ice – Head to Locker Room
  • 2:45pm Off-Ice – Plyometrics, Off-Ice Skills, Instructional Video, Off-Ice Games (variety each day)
  • 4:00pm Pick-Up, End of Camp Day
